V1) starring out a cracked and dirty window. To a field of dreams a mile wide. Saw the son and my daughter I never knew. It dont even matter now why.

C) Sunlight and shadows, The hard road (miles) that lie in between. To forgive someone. I think I might still believe. I still believe.

V2) You took it all and left me with the bottle. Badly broken deep down in a hole. It took some time to dig my out. This kind of hard love is all that I`ve ever known. C

V3) I`ll pack it up and go and leave it all behind me. The Southland it suits me just fine. Living life slows down to free and easy. South of the Mason Dixon line. C

  • An excellent song, strong melody and lyric, and, again, played beautifully - really liked the guitar work.
