The intensity of the argumentation is so great and the despair that Simon Sinek works up here - is evidence of truly great speaking-to-and-audience skill.
So great, in fact, that I - for one- had to view this clip 3 times before I could overcome the feelings brought on by this glum state of affairs, and hear his call to create more human interaction and trust as a standard and not the exception.
This is in stark contrast to the inspirational message Simon Sinek usually conveys.

Thought provoking.
What can I take from here?
Is it the idea that increased material success (more wealth) and affluence has divorced people from their ideals? Should we postulate that "money is the root to all evil"?
Or, that idealistic movements are destined to fail - either thru premature failure or through debilitating bloating from success?
Or that appreciation of the confusion that derives from the vast overload of information should foster revision of our direction,,,?

The 80s are the "first time" we saw money become more important than people? His vision is too brief. He's using history without having enough history.
On the other hand, we are humans and he's right about communication requiring humans to be in the room.

I agree.
Since todays human move in a "searching mode" (as Mr.Sinek says), and tech only make it worse, by letting the chaos come faster. More human direct communication will slow down our movement, and give us more time to solve and find the right life mode.

Seems like stating the obvious...
So what path can corporations take to return to those roots?
Humanity vs profit...So where is the balance?
Where trust becomes the standard, and NOT the exception.
