Is Ellen White a true prophet of God?

I'm a Sabbath keeping Christian, yet I am NOT a member of the SDA. And I agree that the true Sabbath is on Saturday and that's why I keep Saturday day Holy. I love the 10 Commandments and obedience to the Law. HOWEVER, I do not agree with EGW and SDA that we must trust in the Sabbath and 10 Commandments and the Law to avoid the coming Mark of the Beast and to be saved! I believe Satan is behind these EGW "Sunday laws" to mislead people into BABYLON which means LEGALISM and away from grace!

@finallyfoundtheway my research they were in widely public venues not in some dark secluded spot like all others. It is said in a book I read that she could be heard on clear summer nite from a mile off in an open air venue....to me that is pretty amazin and definitly with divine help...

First of all from where do you get your info? No he was not! he taught strictly against secret societies and they would qualify as one. Secondly for the person who asked about a vide not all at the same time he speaks heavily in another series about secret societies in the total onslaught series 36 videos. Yes, She is a false prophet. The Bible tells us about the rise of false prophets in the last days: Ellen White(1Tim4:1-4), Joseph Smith and his followers, Muhammad, The Pope and others.

@1struthalways Defend Ellen and you'll never see the light. She already died. May be before her last breath, she repented from her mistake, who knows? But you, defend a human, a sinful person could damage your soul. Many SDAs refute Ellen as a true prophet because of her false teachings about the 1844 investigative Judgement and Great Controversy, the Shut Door and Midnight Cry, and her teaching on strict vegetarian diet plan or no meats. @godlywarrior777 I know not your sources but I did hours of research to those claims and this is what I found there was a catholic lawyer hired by the catholic church who looked into those claims and he had 100 +ppl comb through her writings and highlight her writings which plagerised or parroted others work , it was determined that what was copied was only 2% was copied and of that it was not prophetic it was only healthy living and such..remember he was hired by the catholic church to debun

We don't need visions to tell us what the bible says. We need the bible to tell us whether others speaking are telling us the truth or not. This wasn't the case of a prophecy persay but where she would use visions to tell others what the bible said.

She couldn't use the bible to confirm whether a vision was true because she didn't understand the bible. She used the vision to define the bible. She wouldn't be able to test them accordingly, which is why things she said contradict the bible.

He wasn't talking about what Ellen White would accomplish in the last days, or that it would confirm she'd be a prophet. Even Joseph smith claimed to have visions.

There have been many people in the last few hundred years that claimed to have visions, and the way we find out where their "vision" came from is by testing what they say against what the bible already said. If they contradict the bible, they have failed one biblical test. Another is false prophecy, you fail then God did not speak.
