i got one of these mines from the early 90's i believe. but yours is nicer then mine is kinda rusty.

Those are accaully McMillian motors. Same with the lakewoods with that style motor.

My grandmother had one of these when I was really little! It had a dark brown fan blade. Do you ever trade your fans for other fans?

I had a grey one bought in 94-95 and the windings blew out in 5 years. Didn't even make its first cleaning...

I think my aunt used to have the Toastmaster box fan just like this and I also saw the same thing at my old elementary school but it's in gray color.

I use to own one of these, It was a great fan but the moter fried-out when I was in 1st grade (2001) and thous was replaced by 2 2002 lasko boxfans wich died on me a year ago.

Isn't the reliability of todays fans just garbage, err i mean great.jk.

Very nice Toastmaster. Those fans do have a "buzziness" about them, but they do run nice when you get everything good and tight on them.

I've tried putting some papaer between the grilles to stop the buzzing.

This is a much nicer looking fan than the ones that are gray.
