now, as an adult i mostly travel in First AC by Rajdhani Express whenever i visit India but as a kid in the late 50's and later as a youth in the 60's i used to travel overnight in a second class compartment, sitting on the side single seat, to my village by 14039/14040 [used to be 39 UP and 40 DN] Delhi-Howrah-Delhi Janata Express.
i've nostalgic memories of those days and those travels...i MISS it!!!
i intend to travel by Janata express during my upcoming visit to India in Feb/march :)
