@devdeng I have read that aptera costs about 1cent a mile to charge. I really have no idea how much miles it gets per charge.

Electricity bill might higher than the fuel we used on cars per day..
Unless there is a way to renew the electric power store rather than using the electric plug that we use at home.

Yes I would be pleased to see them perfect yet they are weak and expensive.
The suitable batteries for car industry are based on Lithium-ion technology.
some data from wikipedia about Lithium-ion battery::
Energy/consumer-price 2.5 Wh/US$
If you want to use 50kWh type of battery it will cost you 20.000 US$ (only for battery).
With 50kWh battery your engine can run approx. 2 hours...
