Just bought this game over the weekend, playing a Blood Mage. I absolutely love the look and feel of it. Also been playing Rift and WoW but I find myself logging back on to Vanguard most of the time. It doesn't have all of those achievements and scripted events and stuff, which kind of makes it that much better. It feels like a real, classic MMO. ;D I see tons of people in the trial island. Already found a guild and some cool people, so it's definitely not dead yet.

@Pettzn Try playing it first before you make a Judgment. This game is definitely not ripped off from wow. This game is 10x better then your World of Shitcraft

This game has gotten so much better. They fixed all the bugs and that was 2007! The game is amazing and read the new reviews yourself! The community is growing again. I highly recommend you download and play the free trial.

not really no, the servers could've taken several times the playerbase I saw. Lame/non-existent marketing effort by Sony never overcame the terrible buggy under performing launch.

Isn't there a trial? :) Get the trial, start a few different chars and see which one you like.
I stopped playing VG a little while ago as all my friends kinda tuned out, but it's a great game!
