Bosnia: The Journey 2012

This June, MADE in Europe took a group of a dozen young Muslim volunteers to live and work alongside families affected by the Bosnian genocide. Not only did they assist their host families in all their day-to-day activities, they learnt valuable lessons about life after conflict, faith and patience.



The trip saw our young Brits milk cows, build haystacks, construct a Strawberry Farm (from your donations!) to provide a sustainable income for a local family, and even participate in the gruelling Mars Mira - a 3 day trek commemorating the plight of the thousands of Bosnians who fled massacre along the same route in 1995.



But The Journey is not over yet. We're looking for 12 exceptional young Muslims to take part in next years Journey, between June and July 2012!
