Dedicated To Miles, a Locomotive Engineer whom I work with. Miles has cancer and has been fighting it for several years now. Two weeks after I put this video together Miles passed away after a 6 year battle with cancer, he was 37.

  • Hogger01, have you ever been to the CP yard in Port Coquitlam, near Vancouver?

  • Hi Anarchemitis,

No I haven't been to Cp Yard in Coquitlam.

  • This video belongs in the Railroad Engineers Hall of Fame. If there is no such Hall of Fame there should be. I have looked at all your videos and I am very impressed. Do you usually run two EMDs or are there other types available? RIP Miles.

  • Hi Raridan1

Thanks for the positive input, it's appreciated. We normally run 2 GP38-2's in our consist. We have 5 locomotives on hand 3 GP38's a GP35 and an SD18.

    Thanks For Watching!

  • how did u qualify for the railroad i wanna get a job do u need a degree to drive a train??

  • Hi helloween1987.

In Canada, the best way to hire on the railway is to take a "Conductors Course" offered at Colleges. George Brown College in Toronto offers this course. Once you hire on CN, CP or what ever other railway, the engineers course is internal. I hope this helps.

    Thanks for Watching!
