OH, HOW I MISS YOU TONIGHT ~ Les Brown & His Orchestra ~ Ray Kellogg & Eileen Wilson ~ 1947~ Columbia Records.
The vocal arrangement on this one was definitely done in the Jimmy Dorsey-Bob Eberly- Helen O'Connell fashion. First, Ray Kellogg comes in, singing romantically, as the band plays softly behind him in a slow tempo and then just before Eileen Wilson takes over the vocals, the tempo jumps up a few notches. Typical vocal arrangement for Dorsey and works great hear for Les Brown.
