http://go.tagjag.com/twinmic - What does YOUR microphone sound like, and what is it? Sound off in a comment!

I just picked up this wireless mic system and decided to give 'er a trial run with the http://go.tagjag.com/vado3 (and it seemed to do a pretty good job). Granted, I may not use this audio option in every video, but it's worth having around - just in case.

  • there is interference please don't use this

  • The wireless mic sounds like there is intermittent static coming in, not to mention your voice isn't very clear and there seems to be ambient static as well. Not very good at all.

  • this sounds robotic

  • Does anyone know if it's possible to have two transmitters connected to one receiver? I'm trying to do a podcast with two people in front of the mic all the time (Like DiggNation). - Let me know. Thanks!

  • hey i've been looking at these audio technica systems and i'm not sure what the difference is between the "twinmic system" and the "pro 88w system". The design, weight... are the same but I would like to know if the quality is the same, thanx

  • thumbs up if you talked to the mic when he pointed it at you

  • Jesus Christ! I thought Don Adams came back from the dead to talk to be about microphones.

  • I think that was a bad unit. I have one and it sounds great no static. Or it might be all his signals around his house. hmm

  • horrible mic

  • This unit goes for around $130...for not much more...say around $150, you can get a much better lapel mic although it will be wired. Wireless kits under $500 tend to be cruddy...either the signal cuts out or the mic just is very cheap and unclear. Samson has some ok kits for around $300 which are under the UHF spectrum which won't interfere with most products found in the common household.

The lapel in this kit is ok but panning is strange, the handheld was very tinny sounding.
