Run It With VMware: Dude, Where's My Server?!?

VMware provides a long grocery list of advantages for our apps, both in Windows and Linux. One example is a pool of IIS web servers we use for a high-use application. Once the app is configured on one VM, we can roll it out as multiple servers, with very little time cost. For disaster recovery, we are replicating VM's to a remote site. An example is our Blackberry Enterprise Server. Using VMware's SRM, We are automating these remote VMs to come online when needed in a disaster. SRM makes all necessary configuration changes on the remote clones automatically. All this is accomplished very efficiently, with little hardware, configuration, or custom application cost.
