Reverend Yao, Buddhist Priest and Zen Painter

Reverend Yao is a Buddhist priest and Zen painter in Eugene, Oregon. He is a man of many names. Yao, Qiao Seng, Sad Monk, and Scott Martinez. His checkered past forced him to seek out a better way of life. Yao has found peace in Buddhism and meditation, and holds Zen painting classes in his home as a way to give back to the community and teach others about the joys of making everything in life a meditation.
