Good point, why are we neck deep in Afghanistan when the average American wouldn't even know we are there. I can tell you now that the Taliban and other people around the world watching would know we are there.
We don't need to get involved in these wars, we've broken the world's trust by doing this when previously we had it, now we just do whatever the US or UN tell us.
