Samuel Yirga Mitiku (Ethiopian Jazz Piano)

During the taping of a show called Audience Of One, the pianist of the featured group (Dub Colossus) took some free time to tickle the keys. Here's what we got on tape...

Slightly sad side note to this... my friend Charlie Gillett (incomparably daring broadcaster of many years) had recommended that I make time during this taping to catch Sammy playing solo. I'd always trusted his judgement, so we made special preparations to get this segment right. I think it really paid off, sadly Charlie passed away before getting the chance to see just how right he was....
