Free Celtic Countries!

the isle is a protectorate of jolly old England!!

The Isle of Man would never join England, after all it once was a Scottish island and is more closely linked to Scotland via language and culture than any of the other Home Nations.

@Person012345 and what is what you prefer?

@Blackrapperable Legend tells of a Lord who governs over the spiritual aspects of the Island. His name is Mannanan, hence Isle of Mann -> Isle of Man. When the island is covered or surrounded in fog, we say Mannanan has cast his cloak upon us.

@mercedesSlk666 actually, no. This is a form of a celtic Triskelion. It's not actually the same as Sicily's emblem, because our triskelion is armored, symbolising the norse viking history of the island.
The isle of man will never join the EU, it will become independent if it has to. It's not going to give over 1000 years of independent parliament to a bunch of unelected EU commissioners.
There's a reason why it's not part of the EU, because it doesn't want to be.

IF it does happen (which I doubt) it would either be independence, or "join" England. The fact is we are pretty much independent in that we have a seperate government anyway, but we are "property" of the queen, so I doubt that would change.
