@MerylStreep811 After world war 2 politicians decided to build the kind of Britain we wanted to live in.

They developed the Health system,railways schools,housing and other infrastructure.

Margret Thatcher set about stealing that infrastructure for her self and her friends,when they sold the gas/electric/trains ect ect at very low prices it was no suprise that those politicians ended up in control of those buisnesses for their own profit.

@portsanity If that is really true , I absolutely agree with you , that it wasn´t right . But the main reason for me to like and admire Thatcher is not only the way she made politics but also the will the do her best and to work really hard for her country and you must agree with me , that she achieved in many ways substantial success, stood always on her principles and gave the people wether they liked her or not the feeling that she knew what she was doing .

@portsanity well , I know for sure that people in the Uk love her or hate her . I´m sure there will be a lot of people who feel bitterness for her but I´m sure that there are also many people who respect her work and her as a woman and a human being . You know , I respect your oppinion , but for me she was one of the greatest leader the UK ever had . and she resigned because of her party , not because of Mark .

@MerylStreep811 The end of the IRA terrorist campaign proved all.It turned out that they had genuine grievances and when those grievances were delt with the bombing ended.

You said "She had a great life and she did great things and was an extraordinary woman"You could use that description for Hitler just change the word woman for man and ignore all the bad that he did.

Never negotiate with terrorists, total surrender or nothing and meanwhile Britain got bombed,for no reason we were told ,mindless killers and yes that bombing wiped the smirk off her face
