All that in less less than 90 years. We may not invent things as awesome as airplanes or the internet, but our inventions save lives, help people live more comfortably and prevent many more accidents.

oh yes America did invent the internet (a concept that was stolen from Alan Turing) but try using the internet without World WideWeb... the telephone was invented by a British man while in the US.. the machine gun wouldn't have been possible without the Chinese, the 1st flight was done by a french man and a early design of an aeroplane was done by a British guy.. the aussies love cricket and rugby... Telephone was invented by a Scottish guy living in Canada, not american. Light bulb although it is disputed who is the original inventor, any basic research will show you europeans were doing that first as well.
