eva is unique in the sense that it gives you a few good moments of joy when the characters get along, and for a few moments it seems they MIGHT lead a normal life.

Then the shit hits the fan and it ends up in tragedy and the audience finish watching the anime feeling like crap. But that´s what is important. It made you FEEL something. Not every anime can make me feel sadness for imaginary, non existant lifes. MASTERPIECE
