  • Thank you for posting this. My daughter is 6 months and I believe she is having IS but her neurologists don't believe me because it didn't show up on the EEG. I recently caught her on camera doing this exact thing...a tonic sizure followed by an IS. I can tell exactly what it is by watching your video since it's almost identical. Maybe now they will take me seriously.

  • I am glad the video helped. I believe the earlier this is treated the better the outcome. Dawson has progressed very very well and is beating the odds. you can check out his progress at our blog which is listed on the video Thanks for the comments

  • What a CUTE and adorable baby!!! It is really sad to see him with this condition.

  • why does this happen to babies?

  • This must have been very scary!

  • shouldnt have drank while pregnant

  • Poor kid

  • To the people wondering if it's painful I have Tonic seizures and I am usually conscious or semi-conscious when I'm having them.

Though they don't feel good, I've never been in pain while having them it's just a strange unpleasant feeling.

  • poor guy, I'm so sorry :(

  • the temper and fits you talk about? maybe infants shouldn't be taking prescription drugs - side effects?

  • it hurts??

  • My son has epilepsy too. i would sugest that you look into the kitogenic diet as an alternative to medications
