In this review of the hardware of the HP Pre 3, we cover the 1.4GHz Qualcomm CPU (which has 512MB of RAM), the larger keyboard, the soft-touch plastic on the back, and the rear-facing camera.

  • I have to totally disagree with you concerning your comment on the look of the phone. The simplistic beauty the Pre series offers is unmatched. No buttons, smooth, the idea of it looking like a stone in a river was brilliant. Classy really.

I felt that was always one of the reasons I got the Pre Plus was because of its design.

    Thinner is better of course.

  • Brandon Cinnamon Lol i write that in every pocketnow video that i watch LOL!!!

  • @snowmobile576 he didnt know because it is useless its only for skype cant take pictures

  • "this device could really use a refresh" why dont people tell apple that but no they telll webos.... i just dont understand people ..... lame review anyway

  • If someone could port the android app store to web os (now it is open source) it would be an insanely good phone, I have it now is soooo good only probs are music isn't copying to the player correctly and not enough apps but it is a lovely phone

  • Got one. Thank you for showing me how to pop the battery cover off, my eyesight's going and I couldn't see the little slit. I'm disappointed that the home button is capacitive, but hopefully I can make that work. It's a lot heavier than I thought, but feels very nice in hand, much smoother than the Galaxy S 2 Skyrocket that I had to return. Also, I love the touchstone.

  • @bomotsot not to be argumental, but how does it look PREHISTORIC compared to others?

Please explain how you came to the conclusion that they are garbage.

I understand webOS has some quirks and Pre phones never had amazing build quality, but what else merits a "garbage" rating?

  • You know it's a "PRE" because it absolutely looks so 'PREHISTORIC"

    Fuck this phones! Garbage!

  • your a porn

  • You review phones and didn't know that was a front-facing camera at first?

  • And when I see the Pre in movies or on TV, my heart skips a beat and I get that longing to use that phone again. Now that the Pre3 is out, I'm re-thinking my decision to upgrade to the Galaxy S2 (but I really do love the Galaxy S). My only concern (and the one that made me have to find another phone in the first place) is the Apps. They didn't run full function with the way I needed to use it for my office, so I'm still a bit hesitant about that.
