@DraconikGuardian Cenk states that few passages in the bible reflects supposed poor attempt at omitting that God had "wife" but he provides no evidence for that. Therefore the claims of these theologians are nothing more than special pleading and selective intepretation, that has nothing to do with actual evidence for the existence of God.

@DraconikGuardian Cenk and Ana didn't bother to do proper research on this subject by fairly examining both sides of debate which makes this video biased. Israelites fell into pagan practices before and the prophets condemned them like they did with Asherah and the bible does not hide that fact, therefore there was no editing out.This evidence doesn't undermine the Bible’s record that Israelites believed in a single, unique God.

@DraconikGuardian Cenk is not a biblescholar or archeologist, he has no business discussing subject for which he lacks qualifications.And what does Ana mean by "theologists"? How many of them believe that? Do they all believe it? I can guarantee that they don't.

@gethsoftware Surprised this did not get more likes/upvotes. You are pretty much exactly correct, sir/ma'am. That was pretty much what I learned too. The Jewish religion of the time was split down the middle and when the ruler sided with the "Yaweh Alone" movement, Asherah was erased from the holy texts (except for the few minor mentions the Turks discussed) and her statues torn down, etc.

Yaweh. the god who betreayed everyone. Inluding the goddess who loved him. In 600BCC the cult of yaweh took control. The god Yaweh Bechame The only god alowed to be worshiped. And slowly the cult rewrote the texts to mach their view of Hisotry.
