  • I built this pump in about ten minutes at a cost of $8.. It works very well. The seal is very good. I followed the directions exactly except I just used a 1/2 inch T at the top for handle... Didn't really need the shoe goo.. the foam has glue on it already that seems to hold.

    Thx for the instructions.

  • @sfast11

    Your welcome!

  • So how do you make the "picker stick plus" then? Do you have a video on that?

  • @tim3854

There is no video for the PSP. The complete PSP hand dredge is available for sale on my website. The valve assemblies for the Plus version are available and for sale by request.

  • ok the comment by wave6472 regarding pipe sizes was NOT posted by me but rather that of my roommate and i suspect he has no concept of basic pluming disregard any more comments posted by wave6472 on pipe sizes and thank you for your video it was very helpful to me now it is time to teach somebody what a 1/2 inch elbow is lol thanks

  • @wave6472

Well I guess the manufacturers of the pipe and the fittings better change how they mark their products then! They must have it all wrong....

  • some of the sizes of pipe in this vid are wrong for example you cannot fit a 1/2 inch elbow on 1/2 inch pipe [ at least not the right way]

I am glad you like the video and your suggestion is welcome! Your approach for retaining the material within the body is novel and one that I had not imagined. I do provide this particular hand dredge (with internal check valves to retain the material) from my website - FissureMan Online.

  • I drilled a small hole in the middle of the screw on plug and slid the rope in and made a knot and pulled it back tight and made the rope through the pipe just as long as the pull handle. It does a great job at keeping the handle in too so that you don’t over pull and pull out the handle from the top.
