Hmm, probably it's also because I use active EMGs here, so the amp is pushed much harder than with passive PUs.

it's mirrored because that's what Photo Booth on Mac does, it can only put it the right way round for still photos :o(

It is fully turned up and the active pickups in that Gibson also help to drive it harder :o)
