So wait do you stack supercharger on supercharger and a blower ontop?
-
You can hear the strain the whole system is putting on the engine. It can barely maintain an idle!!! So does this car do anything else but idle?
-
That is ewerybody CO2-terrorist wet day dream.

@MrLowAltitude chrysler made the idea famous when they made the 426 cu.in./425 hp hemi. It was awesome.

@MrLowAltitude YEAH! The Germans were building hemis back when the swiss were helping the nazis steal and hide the jews' money!

continue: i cant pay for the huge petrol prices and the amount of CO2 those things emmit like any other middle class American, but perhaps American muscles are great for straight line thrills...but sozz if i may have offended anyone.
@kenfo0 Actualy, they were even earlyer. It was invented around 1900-1905 I think. At the same time, the swiss invented the turbocharger. In 1910-20 many european manufacturers built hemi engines for their racing cars.
American HEMI's came on the market nearly 40 years later...
As I said. Chrysler just called their engines Hemi so everybody thinks it's something special but it was invented way back in history by europeans.

@castellscl right but wouldn't you the lower would suck the boost out of the upper unless it was driven more quickly than the lower. Which would make the lower blower the limiting factor.... I just don't realy get it except for the asthetic aspect.
