In the Fall of 2006, there was a group of students at James River High School (which is still currently underconstruction and its really freakin hard to learn in a construction area.. ). they would undergo very boring lives durring school. after the day at school would end they would go home and do nothing just becuase of the aftershock of the all the excessive bordom that they had to go though within that school day. this group of students decided it would be best if they started spicing up the end of the day with a simple signal to end the day, the gong. from that one Glorious day, an amazing thing happened. the students had created "Gong day" which was held on every friday, and durring the entire week of spirit week. to the students, this was still not enough. one day they found boxes in the library/gym of the contruction devistated school and began to ponder the uses of the "boxs". one student had the genious idea of using the box as a sled and riding it down the school stairs with it. well.. we did that.... and it was really fun.
since then we have tried coming up with ideas to make the end of the day even more exciting and to enhance the extreme fun to a new level. we would enjoy some constructive ideas on what we could do at school to go home happier and more fulfilled.
