Amidst Cairo turmoil and as anti-Mubarak uprising enters its 12th day, Wael Ghonim, Google's MENA marketing manager went missing according to Google. Ghonim, sources later confirmed, was more than just a Google executive - he was the mastermind behind the pro-Baradei Facebook groups and one of a number of admins for the Alshaheed, 'We are all Khalid Said' Facebook group.

Ghonim appears in this video as plainclothes policemen/thugs single him out from a crowd of retreating protesters and arrested near the Journalists' Syndicate in the early hours of "Friday of Wrath", 28 January 2011.

Ghonim is still unaccounted for and activists, friends, family and Google fear for his safety.

  • Hey!Google company Where is Wael Ghonim NOW?. Egypt is turning worse than a monarchy!. Worse for liberty and worse for women. What's kind of revolution is that?

  • these bullies caught on tape should be arrested and tortured the same way they tortured other people and be shown on you tube to everybody

  • @inewkiller Women, don't leave men behind you! Fight for democracy together with your men!

  • @hnixos It takes a cold person to see things from a neutral perspective. I don't like any people with power, for most people seem to do anything to get it, though I see that they're needed.

There is nothing heroic about anything. And you seemingly warm and heroic way to say what you say sounds like the way people makes other people follow your opinion. And thats why cold people tend to know better, their will not be bend by pretty words.

Read about the war of the ideology - world war 2.

  • oh Egypt, how I love you. I want to join you so bad. The fucking plain clothes are a bunch of pussies. If they're men enough, they'd go man to man with me. Your revolution is so beautiful. You're weaving an awesome legacy. Please don't stop.

  • The struggle for Democratic freedoms is a human struggle...one that even America still has trouble with after hundreds of years. While not perfect, democracy ensures that the consensus of the people is adhered to, making the people masters of their own destiny. Autocracy is INVALID by virtue.
