City Stage S Ranked. I know I could've done certain things faster, but I play it safe, and my tactics are solid.

This is Normal difficulty. I have 7 lives because I've played so much that they've been awarded to me over time.

@thangmap2007 Unfortunately when I recorded this video in late 2007, there was no high quality option on youtube, let alone HD options. It's been years since I played Shattered Soldier, so I can't expect that I'll ever redo this set. =)

This is not a perfect playthrough though; I recorded stage 6 first back when I was doing this, and when I recorded the actual game, I got killed once in stage 6, and said screw it. That's why my final rank at the end of stage 7 is an A instead of an S. But I do appreciate the compliment, very much.

I have a homosexual son who used to only play games like DDR, Guitar Hero, and various fighting games(he'd only play as female characters though).

I forced him to play this game with me until we could get through it without a game over.

He's now married with 13 children.

I can't believe so many people think this game is that hard. This is the easiest Contra by far (also one the best however. I love this game)

AWESOME! JUST AWESOME! Manliest game out there! I played my cousin's game til I memorized most of the stages! I so need to find a copy of this game, but too few seem to exist! :( It's games like this and action moves of the 80s and 90s that make real men! Fuck Feminism and emasculated men! It takes a REAL man to save the world! Contra forever! We need a new on for PS3!!
