Parkening and Williams, in my humble opinion, are both equal. What turns people off from Williams isn't his playing but his robotic way of going about it. There is another guitarist who is never mentioned here. He teaches online and at USC. HIs name is Adam Delmonte. Not only can he play classical, but he is one of the very best flamenco guitarists I've ever heard.

No you don't, Christopher Parkening was a student of his and some critics claim that the mantle fell to him after Mr. Segovia died. Get his CD's...."In the Spanish Style", Parkening Plays Bach" and "Simple Gifts." You will not be disappointed. :)
