You are welcome! I've just thought of something else - we must have been tuned in to Radio Caroline because Radio 1 didn't come along until 1967 [or was that Top of the Pops?] and there were no stations other than the pirate ships playing pop music Monday to Friday. All we had on the radio was Saturday morning with Saturday Club, Sunday afternoon - Pick of the Pops and Sunday night Radio Luxemburg with the UK Top 20.

I have actually danced on a beach to this. In some sand dunes off the coast of Northumberland. Third form school trip, summer 1965 to the Farne Islands - I took my tranny. About 6 of us [all girls] took our jeans off and danced around in our tops and knickers! What a memory - it was glorious weather and the song suited the mood.
