Oh Nick! I'm sad to read that Jonas left. I was just going to write that I laughed a lot with Jonas playing with wet sand, and I said "no, Jonas, please not the sand" while I see he in the video XD. And then I read the comments and I knew. Lovely dog, thanks for sharing this video. Greetings from Buenos Aires

top dog m8, ive just got a 3 month old briard pup and the vet wants to take his double due claws off because he says they get caught on things...have ur vets said the same?

Jonas past away, just shy of his 13th birthday. But he had his wolf claws to the end. We now have Chica and she's 8. Still with her claws. My take on it is to keep them and only remove them when there's no other way. As in an accident during play or something of the like.
Enjoy your Briard
Cheers

Jonas had a great holiday in Danmark and after we came back, it was like he said that it had been enough. Good, but enough. Like allways it's to be expected at ages like that, doesn't make it any easier tho. We enjoy Chica now (got her for 2-1/2 weeks now) She needed a new home and we try to provide the best we can.
Like I said, Enjoy your pup. It'll cost you 10 years of your life :-) but worth every minute of it.
Cheers
Nick
