***WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY***

Video of a brand new Cirrus SR20 G3 (N393CP)

I started with Jato Aviation in SQL, and flew to CCR to pick up my friend Charlie! We then took off, encountered a bird strike and landed. Thank God noone was hurt, and the plane wasn't damaged, we had someone clean up everything and was also confronted by the airport fire department. We then took off and headed to Rio Vista (O88) where we did a touch and go, finally came back to Concord, dropped Charlie off, and headed back to SQL!

EDIT: I realized the order is kinda messed up.

1. "One Last Takeoff In Concord"
2. "Concord Takeoff"
3. "Concord Climbout"
4. "Bird Strike Landing"

Is the correct order.

  • And I thought $75/Hr for an Archer III was expensive haha

Man it looks and sounds fast =]

  • Haha. I use it for training, its a very fast airplane, which is great. Though it is a joy to fly :)

  • Ahh so did you rent the Cirrus for kind of a joy ride? =]

  • Jato and Diamond Aviation.

  • Yeah, I am at San Carlos (KSQL), The Cirrus' are much more expensive, the 172 G1000's i fly go for around 140, and the 6 packs with new GPS's are around 110.

  • Dang!

Where do you rent it at?

Because I'm about to start flght lessons at the Travis Aero Club at Rio Vista (O88) and they charge $60-$80 depending on the aircraft.

But they don't have any Cirrus' =[

  • I pay $199 an hour for this plane.
