Drill press automated with mach 3 cnc control

my automated drill press drilling 5 off 6.5mm holes in 6mm hot rolled steel.
automated with mach3 cnc controller, mitsubishi 500 watt servos on x and y axis, yaskawa 200watt servo through 20:1 reduction to raise and lower z axis
very heath robinson sort of setup but it works all day when i need it! this was the last of 200 plates i had to drill today and all done with just one drill bit (no coolant etc)

no drip tray to catch it.

after drilling 1000 holes on 200 plates i binned the drill bit. it did pretty good that day.

it was set to peck drill at 2mm depth per peck so it cleared the holes as it drilled
