The Price Of Honour

To my knowledge, this is a different look at Leo in Season Four of the 2003 Toon.

A tribute, if that is the right word, to Leonardo's unravelling from what we knew to the reckless, violent person he became. This is a mourning for his character as it twisted and hardened until his eventual self destruction in The Ancient One.

Enjoy, though a tissue may be advisible.

Even though Leo's one of my fave characters, he scares me sometimes when he's angry.

I actually rather enjoyed seeing him unravel throughout season four. It gives the fanfic writer in me something to work with, and more importantly shows that he is very human.

Okay I may be the only one but from 1:35-1:45 just made me think of Daredevil lol. Great video. Leo isn't my favorite turtle of the bunch, that'd be Mikey :D, but I hated seeing how he tortured himself and the effect everything had on him. They developed his char really well...all the chars really..but yeah Leo's development definitly made me tear up :(

Really? Now I'm going to have to go and watch Daredevil once again. As for fave turtles? Yea, I'm a huge Mikey fan, but everyone has their obligatory Leo!Angst video and this is mine for the collection. I've also done a tribute to Mikey too, if you want to check it out.

This video shows just how much Leonardo tortured himself and how much he was hurting inside over the guilt he carried after the last battle with the Shredder. The poor guy just had a hard time seeing that he didn't need to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders. But, as I stated before, I'm glad he's back to normal.

Thus proving that Leo is his own worst enemy! To the very last second, the worst thing being that he wouldn't have learnt anything from what he went through without being seperated from what he loved the most. Also, arguably, you could state that losing his family (even if temporary) really helped his POV when he got back.

@transformers07fan I agree with you, Leo's my favourite Turtle and I sometimes get a bit depressed when he's angry, especially in Season 4. Anger doesn't usually fit him, I mean that's Raph's hotheaded job. lol

Nice video and song!! Poor Leo!! He's so caring about his family to the point he feels worthless and start to torment himself!! I understand this reaction because Splinter expects too much for Leonardo and nobody is perfect. However, when he is send up to Japan to be trained by the Ancient one, Leo's life began to change not only physically, but emotionally and he's back the way he used to be but without the burden.

Season 4 struck a very strong chord...Leo has become much easier to relate to. I think it's safe to say that everyone went through that kind of thing at one point or another. It hurt, seeing him beat himself up like that... and Leo's my favourite turtle! his anger is scary, but it hurts more when you find out why he's angry... it was good though, it showed the human aspect, the thing that remains constant to everyone intelligent.

Leo's crisis added darkness to the show, which I say is good.

I love how Leo kinda had a breakdown in season 4 and actually throughout the entire show.

i noticed tho that Leo became more like Raph at one point being angry, hot headed and unable to control their emotions and when that happened to Leo Raph strped up and became kinda like how Leo used to be.

Raph tried to take care of the others while Leo was having his problems. Also by having LEo go through what Raph has been going through i feel it strenged their bond as brothers
