The only thing that is not from AT40 is the Kris voice-over "it's...it's flattering", which is from an interview on Access Hollywood. :D

Can you tell I made this quickly? LOL. This is one present of many for my lovely twin Mette/bubbleforest. I conceived the idea weeks ago. I knew I wanted to make a fluffy and fun little vidlet about the crush hoopla and how ridiculous it all is, because Kris and Adam are just awesome and adorable and won't back down under media scrutiny. They will make it backfire and mix things up, and I love that. Kris is especially awesome; he is so down-to-earth and a bit of a flirty, sassy little tease, and I think it's stumped the press. I mean, how many guys would respond with "I'm flattered"? He's so genuine and I think that's really cooled down the hype. That's what I wanted this vid to focus on. Kris is cool with it, and in my opinion, everyone should be that way.

For the vidlet, bubbleforest suggested the song Blue Skies by John McLaughlin because it has really amazing intro music. It's a gorgeous song and I tried my best, but it just didn't fit the theme. I also felt that the voice-overs were a little clunky and disjointed. Luckily, Kris&Adam's guest appearance on AT40 came later that week, and they were hilarious and addressed the crush in like, the most perfect soundbites imaginable. I deleted the entire vid and chose a song I was (and am still) completely OBSESSED with. It turns out the opening beats of I Gotta Feelin by Black Eyed Peas are PERFECT for voice-overs. Try it out!

(Speaking of VO's: I really wanted to use one where Adam reenacts telling Kris about the crush, all jokingly "Mmmmhmm...yeah, alright Kris, you're cute", but the show used this really frustrating background music that was nauseating to get around. Also, the video quality was terrible, and part of what made it so cute/funny was Adam's folded arms and expression. Sad panda!)

Anyway, moving on. I just really wanted to make a vidlet about the adorableness that is these two. I think the Rolling Stone quote was blown way out of proportion, but on the bright side, it's brought out some really cute moments that I think show how A+ their friendship is. :D The full excerpt, for those who have forgotten or haven't read it yet:

Lambert had only kind words for the eventual Season 8 champion:
