so did you ever end up seeing the vampire episode?
Like on bootleg? It's worth tracking down for the insane ending where suddenly the Giant robot can shoot giant flaming crucifixes(!) out of his body at the vampire. As if he would have had that power built in just in case that situation ever came up.
@trapadoored I grew up on Johnny Sokko too. Funny you should mention the "vampire" episode because that one was never shown in my area. Too scary, maybe?
Johnny socko is a show they should have featured on this show. I own every episode on bootleg VHS-I think Dragalon the great sea beast is my favorite-or maybe the star fish monster. The vampire episode is actually almost frightening!
Joe was an incredible talent and I am so thankful that he left a legacy of his work, including the Hypnotic Eye, for all of us to enjoy. Rest in peace Joe I love and miss you.

This is everything a great cable access show should be. Wonder if the "Eye" was patterned after Opticron (aka the Gargoyle Eye) from Johnny Sokko?
