Maserati tribute - Fender Stratocaster with seymour duncan ssl 5

Listening to a lot of Maserati lately. Found that the ssl 5 does a pretty good job of getting a similar sound, so I put together a drum and bass track to play over. I'm playing my home made david gilmour black strat. It has a mexican neck, a highway one body an ssl 5 in the bridge, a mim single coil in the middle and an ssl 6 in the neck. I also put in a Gilmour switch so I can turn on the neck pickup in any position.

great pick up, just ordered one from USA (i'm from italy). God it will take at least 2 weeks before i can get my hands on it! can't wait

@bomboloneallacrema I agree. I had a set of vintage noiseless pickups for a while, but they don't have much character to them. Did you get yours yet?

@edmiglia Not yet, unfortunately. In the meanwhile i think i'll look for the other 2 pick ups. Italian postal services are so bad.
