It isn't just the trauma that causes crippling depression, pesticides such as those sometimes used heavily on bedding etc. can cause terrible problems. Many farmers have suffered from sheep dips and other pesticides. Please talk to someone, it causes such pain to others when suicide occurs. You might have to try 20, 30 or more people before you find someone who will listen and understand. Keep trying. Supporting civilians who have been traumatised by war will help you recover. Don't give up.

Combat stress is causing a suicide epidemic that the media is hiding.
It has been heard that up to 18 soldiers commit suicide a day, does anyone know if this is true?
