Scenario 05 "Rebellion"

This is the "skeleton armageddon" scenario. You have expert necromancy at start (it doesnt matter which race you choose), and there are thousands of peasants and archers on map. I don't like necromancers, that's why I'm struggling in this scenario a little. I'm sure that H2 Necro player would do that 10x better, but I'm quite satisfied how this one turned for me.

You are starting with town of your choice, with 5lv knight (with exp. necromancy), 40 skeletons and bone dragon. The aim here is to build a army of skeletons. Once you have done it, your troubles are over. Mine army of skeletons were doing like 9000+ damage with one shot, which basically means that you can kill everything on this map with one hit.

First of all, you should build some dwellings in your town, they will be useful in battle for luring peasants later on. There are two easy stacks of 100 peasants in north, you should take them. The more you go to the north, there is a stack of 1000 peasants, but you will need to take them carefully, because you don't want too much loses. Its great if you have slow or blind spell, also luring stacks of peasants with weak creatures on battlefield matters. Once you beat that legion, you will end with about 300 skeletons.

Now you should go to the treasury guarded by 4,000 peasants. Its quite hard to beat them without loses, think about splitting skeletons on two. I think that 150 skeletons can 1-hit a stack of 800 peasants, so split your firepower (I haven't did it though).

After that battle, you will have about 1500+ skeletons, and now you can pass a "throng of archers" and enter a second zone. There will be some peasants too, so get them and raise more skeletons. When you have an army of 2000 skeletons, nothing here can stop you, its just matter of time when enemy will die.

When you are offered with diplomacy skill, take it. Its good to go for archers/rangers in this map. You can recruit them from villages (unupgraded ones), from enemy towns (with posiible upgrading), you can diplomacy hunters on map and you can recruit them from red houses. This basically means that you can horde your archers, which will be useful, at least as cannon fodder (its better to lose archer than skeleton).

If you want, you can capture mines and build up your main town to gather other good army, but I haven't did it. Good luck.
