Are you leveraging the five elements of persuasion in your advertising & marketing?

In this edition of Monday Morning Marketing Quote, I explain five elements of persuasive storytelling from Richard Maxwell and Robert Dickman and their book, The Elements of Persuasion: Use Storytelling to Pitch Better, Sell Faster & Win More Business

Passion: Why did I tell that story? What makes me care about it? Did I make my audience care?
Hero: Who was the story about? Did the person I was telling seem to accept the hero's point of view?
Antagonist: What problem was the hero confronting, and how did telling that story make me and my listener feel?
Awareness: What did my hero learn in the story? What did I add to the cold hard facts to make it sparkle?
Transformation: What changed in the story? -- Richard Maxwell & Robert Dickman
