Hi Nathan - it's Meg, Tim's wife :). Love this video! Didn't know you sang AND played the ukulele. You rock!
-
I love this, Nathan! You are by far one of the coolest people I know.

Nate - Russell Brand ain't got nothin' on you. Love your version of this! I've watched it um, a lot of times. And (hoping you don't mind) I posted it on FB and a ton of people, some of whom you don't even know, shared the link and loved it. Keep being you. Love you!

Hi, I'm Carl's son and acquainted with Nathan from way back. It's an honor to hear a chorus from one of my dad's songs to open the video. Thanks so much for sharing. Great video!
Also, it might be worth noting, Carl's lyrics originally are “Son” instead of “sun” as follows:
The Son is Always Shining:
He shines above, on a stormy day!
Even in the darkest nighttime,
It’s just the world that’s turned away.

Somehow your views have sploded, bro. Can it be the seductive enchantment of the curls of your moustache? Viral or bust.

Nate you did such a cool job on this song! I love your voice. Keep singing.
A much better version of this song can be found by searching for "Losing My Religion Russel Brand".

Mom sez that Carl Steiner wrote that song, not Jim. Curiouser and curiouser.

H'm. I always thought granddad wrote it.
Credits have been changed to reflect the proper author.
...
My memory of Carl is that he was a gentle man,
so I'm not surprised to know he wrote such a sweet song.

Uno de mis canciones favoritias--y tu con la cara barbuda cantando con las estatuas! Magnifico! Quien es el nino? Tu es la pintura de la vida hipsterada en Valparaiso!

El niño apareció como un nacimiento virginal.
En Español Chileno, 'bigote' (moustache) is pronounced 'vigote' (deadeye).
