Hey, it's my Uncle Bill! What a character. And a real piece of KC history. When I was a kid, back in the '60s, when kids knew my last name, it wasn't uncommon to be greeted with "Heloooooooooo, Kersten." I'm sure he learned a lot from those wrestlers, but one thing really comes to mind. He could seriously injure you in a 'handshaking contest.' Probably still could.

It is really nice to hear from Bill Kersten. I remember him announcing all the wrestling matches, especially Dory Funk, Jr.; and Harley Race. They're all still alive (thats a big feat!) and they are all awesome!
