I'm mad they made a big deal out of this on TV saying Conyers told him to leave out with an attitude, he was just asking him to excuse himself after they had a little fun. It was all just a joke.

ok the fat lady is the one who requested colbert to come to the committee and speak and she says that "we can listen to lungren and colbert can ponder what you've said". I can't tell if she was just being nice about the other guys comment thinking (he's just old and retarded) or if she's in on it and doesn't want to hear colbert speak. i think they come to senses and realize that he is prominent figure in the media and it would look bad if they told him to come out to DC to speak and doesn't.
