Coil On Back of My SG keeps Primary Batt Charged!Id like to add that this Bedini Circuit with the coil in back Does Indeed self charge its running battery however My brother tried to duplicate it by winding a piggy back coil and could not get over 24 volts rectified on his so the variable is this relay coil i do not know how it was wound and i aint going to tear it apart to find out so.My unit draws 25 ma.now tuned to less than 10 ma the output coils puts out over 100volts 35ma in a cap then a big diode to the primary battery. This relay coil i believe was a 117volt with mercury sw
One can also wind coils unidirectionally, meaning the spirals all go clockwise (or CCW) downwards, then when the bottom is reached on each layer, a single strand is ran directly UP to the top and the process is started again. ALL coils spiral the same direction and presumably this helps output a measurable amount. (Not sure whether voltage or amperage is helped, or perhaps both?) Anyway, I'd be willing to tackle your "coil conundrum" and likely even buy one to sacrifice if you think it's that!!!

HEY Fusionchip! If you can get the internal coil wire size and ohm reading, we can calculate the number of turns pretty closely. You know, of that there mercury switch relay coil. Do you know the voltage rating of it? That will tell us a lot too. I have a 110V AC coil from a Red Hat solenoid, for an air valve, a solenoid is simply a switch for air or liquid whereas a relay is a switch for current. I would imagine your coil is conventionally wound, but there are many ways to wind coils you know!
