The Jets played host to the St. Louis Bandits in a three game series this past weekend.
On Friday, December 9th, the Jets were leading 1-0 in the third period. The Bandits pulled their goalie for an extra attacker and ended up scoring with 0:13 seconds left in regulation. No one scored in the overtime but the Bandits did score in the overtime shootout, winning the game in 2-1. Bryan Kronberger scored the lone goal for the Jets in the second period.
Saturday, December 10th, the Jets lost a close fought game, 1-0.
On Sunday, December 11th, The Jets won the last game of the series in an overtime thriller, 3-2. Truman Landowski scored in the first period, Adam Frank in the second and Connor McBride was able to put the game winning goal past the keeper in overtime for the victory. Jets goalie Brock Kautz recorded the win, his third of the season, saving 17 shots. Currently the Jets (19-6-3) are in second place in the NAHL MidWest division, three points behind division leader St. Louis.
