@CRAXYFINGERS76 Mandocello is actually a little bit lower in range than the octave mandolin (search mandocello on here and you'll see what I mean). But in a way, the distinction is kind of moot, they have such a similar range and timbre.

@solealunaduir After 2,750 views, this is the first time anyone's said something about the audio level. Admittedly it is lower than unual, but that's what volume controls are for. In any case, I've uploaded a new version (1280x720p) with an improved soundtrack at CBtGvSXILqE.

What is she playing? A mandotar?? A guitolin??? Seriously, that appears to be some sort of crazy giant mandolin...

@jiclark The instrument is called an Octave Mandolin. It's strung like a standard mando (4 pairs of strings) but is tuned an octave lower, and has a larger body - but smaller than a standard arch-top guitar.
