This is my favorite band ever but we must face facts: They must have broken up. Even their website has "Walk the Earth" listed as their "new album." I fear we have long since heard the last of this iconic and great band... with the best metal singer EVER...

@DouchebagCris8 Silent Force is killer and the singer is American. We have decent bands in the US and even though Slayer is good, in my humble opinion, I'd have to rank them behind Anthrax, Overkill and Manowar. But, you have to take in consideration that I'm fairly new to metal being a punker most of my musical life, so I could be really fucking wrong.

To be honest it falls down to taste. I mean Tw****t is a good example of that. I personally prefer things that have more kick to them than this music, which is why I don't agree with the whole "this is what metal should sound like" statement, but I do believe these guys are badass. It's a matter of personal taste.

@HELLFIREV1 Don't blame the ass-sucking American bands, blame the assbags that enjoy that music and popularize it enough to make it mainstream. Also, I'd take plenty of those American shite bands over this Euro vag cheese. And I love the Euro cheese metal, too.
