I also love how this isn't played on acousitc guitar, gives it an almost unorthadox beauty, like the live performance of Cemetary in 1997 on Much Music.

I'm speechless. I always wanted to see a solo performance of this. I'm a lover of all of Silverchair's work, and I think Frogstomp deserves a bit more credit, when you hear how amazing their old stuff can sound years later. There's obvious maturity evergrowing when you listen to the albums chronologically, but this performance shows how even the early days can still sound as beautiful as today. It's weird hearing it like this almost gives it more of an emotional depth, one of Dan's finest.

i've never seen anything so heartbreaking. imagine being daniel feeling like he was at the time and remembering your formerly happy 14 year old self while playing the song for the last time. closing the door on that, the past. this is painful even to watch. poor daniel, i'm glad he moved on to better places with his life and he deserves to be happy.
