This is my second video of burnouts from way back in 2002. I left it in drive in this one and power braked it. You can hear the engine lazily shift into second, I guess a full throttle burnout against full braking force isn't enough load to warrant first gear when you have 500lbs of torque!

  • i know where i can get one of these for $3,900. it is in mint shape, with 75k, it's a boat tail, not sure if it's an option or just what they are all called. it has a 455, is it a good deal? or not. all i know is it is NASTY!

  • @justin76bmw Yeah, You can pick these cars up for dirt cheap.

  • What a wicked burnout. Sounds great. I'm guessing you got flowmasters or something.

  • @imperial73 Yes, 3 chamber flowmasters. I changed the exhaust 3 times. From taking off the resonators, to Moroso race mufflers (way to much drone) to Flowmasters. Nothing sounds better than Flowmasters!

  • it was rebuilt with a crower level 2 cam, and a holley commander 950.

  • FFOEM knows my car well. Yes it has a slightly bigger cam and fuel injection. But it still runs on 87 octane. 500 lbs of torque and about 330hp. I could have easily built a 400+hp motor but it was my daily driver at the time and I wanted to run on the cheap gas.
