  • @guerriermandingue Excatly ! Stich don't make a break. Very sade for Stefan... Same thing in AO '94. He loose in SF VS Todd Martin 36 76 76 76...

  • Stich bezwang im Halbfinale Edberg, danach im Finale Becker, besser kann man nicht sein, um Champion zu werden

  • Allmost every righthandplyer lands on his left foot after serving. Exept for Boris Becker, who landed on his right foot and had front to net and could run forward towards the net. But if you look at more Stich matches, you will see he sometimes lands on the left sometimes on the right. Just another proove of his talent. Stich was the greatest underachiever of that generation. Like Mecir before, and Rios, Safin, nalbandian later.

  • Stich plays awesome

  • Strangest day for Edberg who lost the match without losing his serve even once!!!

  • @angelodellabrughiera

Stichs backhand was a pleasure to watch as well.

  • @fromanotherstar: I agree. At least for men's tennis, serve and volley fits grass courts. I can understand women's tennis playing baseline / All-court tennis at Wimbledon.

  • now THIS is grass court tennis....serve and volley....baseliners winning wimbledon just doesnt seem right....thank you for posting this match

  • Edberg the best backhand of all times, I think!

  • One of my most terrible days in life as a huge EDBERG fan :-( remember me crying that day with age 17
